Principal neuronal circuit

  • Example: CA3 Pyramidal neurons are principal neurons projecting out of the CA3 cytoarchitectural part of the hippocampus of vertebrates and thus are a member of a principal neuronal circuit.
  • Example: Cerebellar Purkinje neurons are principal neurons projecting out from the cerebellar cortex of vertebrates and thus are a part of a principal neuronal circuit and thus are a member of a principal neuronal circuit.
