Name: Resource:Neuro-Imaging Platform
Description: Platform for sharing various relevant data about neuroimaging on the Internet, collecting information about neuroimaging research and providing them to researchers all over the world. You can access bibliographic information of text book and peer reviewed journal papers. For practical purposes, programs to present the stimuli, analysis software, and raw data in neuroimaging experiments with various methods such as functional MRI (fMRI), MEG, and NIRS are also included.

Brain scientists should have a platform that they can access through a network and get useful experimental data, analytical methods of brain imaging, and/or mathematical modeling as well as tutorial information. To this end, the Neuro-Imaging Platform (NIMG-PF) committee has been organized as an activity of the Neuroinformatics Japan Center at RIKEN. With the many active researchers in this field and with their collaborations, they hope this PF is realized for neuroscientists and students as a useful tool.

  • URL - contains a list of URLs including the information on the neuroimaging researches.
  • Tool - contains programs for controlling experimental stimuli and for analysis of data obtained in the neuroimaging experiments.
  • Book - contains introductory textbook, encyclopedia and related books to neuroimaging research.
  • BrainCoordinates - contains the coordinates of brain activations. Using "Search with Brain Atlas" on the task bar, activated locations are visualized on the brain atlas and linked to the paper carrying the data.
  • Paper - contains bibliographic information of peer reviewed journal papers on neuroimaging researches.
  • Model - contains models hypothesized for neuroimaging experiments and simulators created based on the results of the experiments.
  • Data - contains audio, visual, and other stimuli presented in neuroimaging experiments and raw data obtained in the experiments.
  • Presentation & Doc - contains Power Point, PDF and video files available for educational purposes and those presented in conferences.
