This is reflected by a large and broad group of investigators at the University of Rochester that includes over 60 faculty members in ten different departments from both the School of Medicine and Dentistry and The College of Arts and Sciences. Several graduate and undergraduate degree programs exist on campus that are designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of students engaged in the study of the nervous system.

The tight physical proximity of the medical and main campuses generates a highly collaborative and interactive Neuroscience community, and provides students with broad and flexible opportunities in their training.
